A Fantasy World

The middle age town, Malmstrømvik, is a sleep. The peaceful river people await another day – little do they know that they soon will be attacked by pirates and desert nomads. The summer of 2014 journalist, Pernille Storholm Skaret, and I joined a gang of 32 youths playing out their fantasy story in the forests of Elverum. The play form, better known as LAIV, is a form of improvised theatre or roll play where the participants make up their own characters and play out these in a constructed story.
