Saying goodbye to a childhood home

20 May 2020

Framnes, my childhood home since 1996, has been in the family for 96 years. First bought by my Great-grandfather in 1924, later taken over by my Grandfather and at last sold to my Mum and Dad when we moved to Norway in 1996. Today marks a new chapter in the story of this beautiful property which lies along Kalvsjø, as it’s now been sold out of the family. On Monday I spent a day photographing the views, details, textures and colours of an empty Framnes to ensure nothing will be forgotten in the future.
